Description   Description An exciting new product for the 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra. Carbon Fiber engine area covers. A three piece set that includes two supercharger side covers and a conical air filter cover. These components provide cosmetic and functional values. The air filter cover deflects hot radiator air from the air filter system while the carbon fiber insulates as compared to the metal units that acts as a "heat sink." The attractive engine covers hide the unsightly maze of relays and wiring that clutter the sides of the supercharger. Features The 2003-2004 Ford Cobra engine covers are made from the highest quality known, as parts used in the Aerospace industry. DO NOT confuse these parts with the "econ-fiber" components offered by some... this is THE REAL STUFF!! This resin system is a high temperature, high strength super epoxy. The fabric is 2x2 oz twill woven to Aerospace specifications. Applying these composites to equally high-tech mold under 29.9" of vacuum and dressing the bagging material as if it were art. Parts are then placed in an autoclave at 270° F and under vacuum (bag) and 150 PSI chamber (Autoclave) pressure. The result of vacuum and pressure creates an extremely strong, thin, lightweight perfect part. Definitely not a procedure you local fiberglass repair shop can duplicate. Clearly, these are "Best of Class!" The three piece kit comes complete with specially designed stainless steel brackets and hardware. NO non-reversible modifications are required. Complete instructions with picture are included. Installation time approximately one hour. Also available in fiberglass for those who wish to paint or detail with custom graphics.   Related Products...
